Frank Lloyd Wright Style Stained Glass Lamp
An unusual stained glass lamp with vibrant glass panels and Prairie School-style design awaits that special room of yours. The interesting colors feature vivid blues, greens, oranges, and red-oranges with intricate copper striping separating the geometric shaped panels. The base of the lamp is quite heavy and is more of a classical design. The material of the heavy base is possibly brass or pot metal which has been burnished to look like brass.
The lamp is very heavy, weighing an estimated 35-40 lbs. due to the heft of the glass panels and the weight of the base. The lighting fixtures are modern and suggest either an update and rewiring or a manufacture in the 1960's or 1970's.
This style reminds us of the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie School-style and its vibrant Midwest autumnal colors. It has a rustic or rural feel to it, in spite of its elegant overall appearance. Some might identify this as a typical "arts and crafts" style.
